Last year in Nashiville -I picked up two burls from a guy that caught my eye. They were Ziricote, and Paela burls. Skip forward to a recent visit to Billy's home with my buddy Stafford, I figured it was time to drop off the wood and get Mr Billy to make his magic on them.
While there, I also found another horn that caught my eye....old growth Lignum Vitae. Billy and Sid kept playing a 6 1/2" horn that sounded really good , so it was the Lignum in that size and the two Burls I chose in his standard 6" design. Got me a number of different mouth pieces to go with them . Thanks Billy for the trifect of killa calls from your shop friend.
