Having Friends...

Is priceless and I am very thankful for the friends I have met/made on this site.  Here are a few calls I was recently fortunate to receive from two talented callmakers and friends!  The 1st is a one of a kind and the 1st built by the Shadetree Bob Fulcher, a Turpin Hen Box if I am correct.  This call is built all from Persimmon that I personally selected from Worthington Indiana.



The 2nd from Mr. Fulcher is also one of a kind primarily from the spectacular wood from which it is built.  This is a classic Turpin made from fiddleback White Ash that I scooped from firewood 3 years ago.  I found the wood when buying other great wood and when I looked over in the man's garage and saw some firewood.  My eyes caught something special and so I asked...he said can you guess what it is? and despite it being all gray from years of storage (28 to be exact in his garage) he said, yep, it's White Ash.  The lid is Bolivian Rosewood and this here is a serious turkey talker.
