It was a gorgeous day and I should have been working outside.. but I had some work I wanted to finish in the shop. Here is a call I finished today...it's the sister call to the last one I made from the same blank of some nicely figured Snakewood, with an Ivory mouth piece. I turned the lip stop from another blank that had similar figure with an insert for adjustment, as well as the lanyard bead.
I really like the way a Snakewood Trumpet sounds, nice crisp clucks and yelps, much like a wing bone call.
