Windows 8
« on: August 02, 2013, 05:39:26 PM »
Anyone got any tips and tricks.  Of course there is youtube.  After a major computer crash I had to bite the bullet and you just can't hardly find anything now without Windows 8 on it.  So far its not to bad but it IS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE.  But then.....I am old and sort of stuck in my ways. *lol*

So far I figured out the best thing for me to do is run off the desktop feature.  It s close enough to the old system that I can function ok. I also figured out that I can "unpin" a bunch of the worthless stuff that comes on the start screen and make it go away.  Helps with the clutter.  With the old computer crash I still have to figure out finding a lot of sites I had stashed away. I used them ALOT to plan out of state trips and such.   :(. If I can help out you guys give me a call or pm.
