My turkey dog
« on: July 17, 2013, 04:18:02 PM »
Let me introduce you to Bama. Roll Tide!
He is 1/2 Pointer, 1/2 German Spaniel and is now 10 months old.
Hopefully this fall you will get to see lots of pics of him in the turkey woods.
Yes, he has his own couch!

Yeah, he's gotta set of feet on him! His feet are webbed as the German Spaniel part of him is suppose to be a good waterfowl retriever.

Man im excited to see im in action. Im gonna find a way to come hunt with you.

Del, you may have to share that couch with Bama!

Handsome looking companion and hunting buddy!!
Dogs add so much to any kind of hunt !!
Looks like he has been spoiled too  *lol*- but then, a hunting dog , well that's what you are supposed to do for them.
Look forward to some pics of roll tide in action this fall

What have you been doing for training to this point?
Apologizing:  does not always mean you are wrong and the other person is right.  It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.

Using wings and tailfans to lay scent trails then let him chew on them.
He loves to point butterflys but he barks at every bird that flies by.
Run birds away from my Mom's birdfeeder and even treed a buzzard one day :)
