West Augusta Strikers
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:01:09 PM »
Steve Torman fixed me up with a good variety of strikers to cover most of the bases.... I even tried a couple flared tip strikers which just showed up on my doorstep this morning. I really haven't had a good chance to try but I will tell you the red oak makes some nice Jake yelps.....

Left to right: Blackwood, Red Oak, Tamboti, Dymondwood, Bloodwood
(The Tamboti got first blood this year for my youth hunt ;))

Nice group Denny, but I own the best striker he ever turned. The dymondwood flared tip I have , flat out runs on everything and does it really well. .
