Kenny Crummett asked me to give everyone an update on Gordy Olsen.
Minnesota callmaker, Gordy Olsen , known for inventing "The Locator" turkey call which was licensed and sold by M.A.D. Calls as The Hatchet Call , has been battling throat cancer for the lastyear and after undergoing chemo therapy , it has spread to his lymph nodes and he is really having a rough go at it. He is doing the best he can as he deals with the treatments right now .
I wanted to let everyone know that his birthday is coming up on the 24th of this month (June) and would like to make a special request to all of you fellow Roosters , to send him a little note or card for his special day . He could really use something to cheer him up right now ! And for those of you with hats that bear your company logos ... Gordy loves to collect ball caps and hats so if you can spare a hat to help cheer up a brother callmaker please send him one ! Here's his address .
