I have about half a can of permanone left then will be looking for something else to try.  Sounds like it might be Sawyers.

Sawyers for 5 years now........In my eyes nothing better. Day in the woods without it my wife pulled 20 off of me. One treatment and no ticks all turkey season.

That's my prevention plan too.  Only found one tick on me in the three or four years I've been using Sawyers.  I'm not 100% certain I didn't pick it up cutting grass somewhere around camp after hunting.

This was my first year using Sawyers, and I just cant get over how well it works. I sprayed ALL my gear, vest, boots, and even treated my back pack too, last year I was imbedded with ticks, this year, none !! It has on the bottle, to use on sporting equipment, tents and even "bag chairs". I even noticed that by spraying the underside of my hats' bill, the gnats wont even "dive bomb " your eyes. wonderful stuff !! The cost wasn't bad either, probably cheaper in the longrun, compared to buying cans and cans of the "other" stuff, that never works.

I've used Duranon for three straight years now. Spray my clothes down about two days before the season starts and never spray them again. It says it is good for six weeks or six washes. I have not had a tick in the three years even though those around me, that do not spray, get them all season long.

Go to The CO OP and get 10% permethrin solution ....mix it in a spray bottle  at about 1.5 oz to 20 oz of water.......heavily mist your clothes and let them dry.............this is the same as what you pay $$ to much for in a can of Permanone......last and lasts.....even a wash won't take all of it out....and it is what the US Military uses in the field to treat their clothes....
