Tagged out in Nebraska
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:32:52 PM »
We had a great trip. Arrived Thursday at 11:30 or so and got settled in at the B&B Then looked up the landowner and got familiar with them. By 5:30 pm we had the first bird down. We shot 100% on the first 4 set ups. 4 birds down then the weather turned bad and couldn't locate a bird. We had a morning with no birds. Then that afternoon another took a nap so to speak. That next morning Steve called 5 birds within 45 yards. I got a fair video of him and the two longbeards strutting then he let them walk. It was time to head back to Missouri. 5 out of 6 tags filled.

Thanks! The goulds or osceola are next for the slam. Not sure yet what we'll do yet. Nebraska will definately stay on the venue. Montana during the first two weeks of may in the mornings and spot n stalk in the evenings is also on the horizon.
