To get this fantastic custom knife today.  Friend and fellow callmaker Frank Kruer is friends with a great great talent Ed Wallace from Kentucky who makes custom knives of all types and styles.  Well a few callmakers have knives built by Ed and when I saw them in Nashville I knew I had to have one, but it had to be built to fit my hands for tuning.  This is a pure tuning knife and when I say it fits my specs perfectly, it simply can't be any closer.  I send Ed some pictures and a cardboard cut out of what I wanted and he matched it spot on. *up* *up*  Frank, a BIG thanks to you RkLu RkLu *bannana* for helping to make this deal happen and I can't wait to "dig-in" this weekend and create some shavings!!  For scale purposes the bone portion is 4.5 " and the blade is 1.75"  It even came with a very well made hand stiched sheath.  If anyone is thinking about a custom tuning knife that will last your lifetime, you should consider one built by Ed Wallace!!

Scott you got a awesome knife right there my friend. I've been real lucky to see many of Ed's knives and all have been Top shelf stuff!! I love the tuner knife he made for myself. *up* I got to see yours in person before Frank shipped it out. You designed a dandy for sure. I must say after holding the knife, you have hands as big as catcher's mitt dude !!   *peep* RkLu ROTFLMBO. All kidding aside, Ed does some awesome work and I highly recommend him for those who are looking for high quality, one of a kind custom knife.  *cheers*

I like it.  Looks like it will be very comfortable in the hand.  Nothing like a custom craftmanship.

I have 2 of Eds knives and they are awesome..The skinner he made me is the best Ive ever had...Great guy to...i am gonna get a bushcraft knife made soon...Congrats Scott

Scott, I see you received your knife. Glad that you like it friend. I have four of Ed's creations and love everyone of them. They are built to last a lifetime! Congrats and put it to good use.  *cheers*

Scott, I have several knives made by Ed and all are SUPERB!!!  love his uniqueness.  Im glad you were able to get one custom made just for you--that adds a whole new meaning of owning one--I know you'll put her to good use, just like she what she was made for.    Congrats buddy   *up*

Nice one Scott! Frank turned me on to one of these and they are just plain awesome! I have been trying to wear mine out since I got it ! The craftsman ship and the steel are blue ribbon! Enjoy buddy I know you will! *up*
