yepper, I used to hit the pa stream in the spring and summer pretty hard till I found fall steelhead and monster browns then I lost interest in the small stocked trout.  Try steelhead on a 6 weight with #4 and 2lb. tippet and you'll have a blast.

That is a good idea I think we are all from Pa. I need to get some tying done before turkey season gets here.

Avid fly fisherman here, when I get a chance to go I enjoy fresh and salt water both. Bass and pike are fun on a fly rod, as well as trout, salmon, lakers, whitefish. Stripers and blue fish are a blast if you get into a school of them, even jack mackerel can provide hours of entertainment. Atlantic salmon are protected here now, but before that I was seriously addicted to fishing for them! Then of course there are Tarpon, Bonefish, Yellowfin tuna..now you got me heading down memory lane...and wishing I had one more shot at a double header...Marlin...the ultimate!

I love to fly fish. Mostly small rivers and wade type streams. But that fits my style well.  :)
