A new 1920....
« on: April 13, 2013, 08:30:43 PM »
This new trumpet from the Old Geezer showed up in the mail today!  A 1920 with desert ironwood.  What a beautiful trumpet call, nice lines and an awesome tone.  Draws and rolls the yelps easily.  I just can't stop admiring this call.  I just love the look of the 1920.

And #21 in the Ralph's series.....Blackjack.

Thanks Ralph -- that's an awesome trumpet you built.

Every day that I go out, it seems that I try and grab different  calls. This morning I got my 1920 bloody  for the first time. A call will sound so much different in the woods and in a field, tempature plays a role also with trumpets. I also have a few new calls that have not called a bird to the gun yet. The season is not over yet.......
