People see my forum name and wonder if I'm from Georgia.  Nope.  I am from Monongalia county in the territory of West Augusta.
A historical territory before there were states.  The town where I live is also nicknamed West Augusta locally and the county where I live was
almost called West Augusta county. I live near the E in West Augusta on the map.

I have killed many turkey in monongalia WV.  Near Bob Town, Gosshin Rd., and more.  Also hunted lots in Burnsville Dam area.  Love WV, some of the finest turkey hunting around I think.

I got my forum name from close friends and my wife.  Here where I live in PA we a have a dragonfly that has always fascinated me and I love watching them. They are also my wifes favorite thing.   Gorgeous in color from purples to blu-ish shades and it is called the "Eastern Pond Hawk".  This specie of dragonfly is known in science, (you can look it up), for its outstanding hunting abilities, being killing machines, crazy agility and speed.....Like me. *lol*  So Friends & my wife call me Dragonfly.---Jason

Steve, Great post.  For me it started when one year I killed a gobbler with spurs that had silver like streaks through it.  When I joined here, I remembered that gobbler and the fact that my own hair was turning that silver color and that is how I came up with the name silverspur.  Not much to it and not interesting either..Lol   My next part will be to purchase one of Steve Lumma's silverspur necklace to go with my name on here.

Ever since the net started I have been ghost. Something in the background, unseen. The 5 is a hackers replacement for another letter I'm not a hacker that part comes from one of my favorite books. Even my avatar is part of the joke it is a pic of my shadow so it is the shadow of a ghost  ;D ;D. Only one person has figured that out.

Scoot is my nickname since grade school and the 12 is number of my favorite qb and best qb in league Aaron Rodgers.  I am a Green Bay Packer fanatic.  Scoot

Goshen Road and much of Eastern Mon county is now unhuntable.  That area is growing very fast.  The Burnsville area you can still hunt.

I went with Muzzleman because I always used my Muzzleloader for spring Gobbler.Now that I bought A new gun and sold My muzzleloader It doen't seem as fitting. I go by willy8457 on the other forum's

I recently saw Johnny Depp as the MadHatter in Alice in Wonderland, and the yelp is such a key call for turkey hunting, loud and soft...and my wife and kids say I am crazy about turkey hunting..not mention just plain crazy.  *lol*

Well growing up in Pa. and reading "Game News" magazine I always enjoyed reading the stories every month by Ned Smith a wildlife artist from Millersburg, Pa. called "Gone for the day" So as I started out the door to go hunting I would tell my wife I'm "Gone for the day" and she would cut in and say yeah I know your "Gone Hunting" Again!!!!!!  LOL The 982 is part of my address
