DAVID HALLORAN ALUMINUM

Anybody own or ran David's aluminum surface call? Pro or cons, good, bad, okay call?? What strikers do you like the best with it? I have one on order direct from David, but just wanted some pregame feedback.

Never ran that call but i have the crystal mitress and that is a very good call.  Hope you enjoy your new one and provide feedback when you get it!

I have run all David's stuff, own 4 of his pots. His aluminum are just as good as all his others.

I have one in my vest.  That said, I don't believe I have any other aluminum pots.

I would say mine is pretty striker friendly. Generally runs well with strikers that run well on slate. Diamondwood runs well also with more rasp.
