Anyone of you guys a techno freak? Lookin' for a good flat screen TV wall mount. Don't want to get robbed. Who out there has a good LCD 40-50 inch TV that would recommend a great brand, pro's and cons?

... I picked up a Philips 52" HD LCD for the camp earlier this year in Sept - "so far, so good" - everyone seems to like the picture & the sound - got it from the local Sam's Club at a great price ...
I've always bought Sony stuff, but I am very pleased with this Philips LCD so far ...

Here is my thoughts- I have a 50" Samsung, wall mount. Also have a 53" Pioneer cabinet. When you get whatever you want, be sure to get an extended warranty. I paid $1500 for the Samsung, it lasted 1 1/2 years before the screen went out. Luckily I got the extended warranty ( something I normally dont do, but God looked out for me on this one). The other recommendation, be sure to keep a fan on the component. Some TVs are offering built in fans, but most dont. If it doesnt, get one on it. These TVs sit up against the wall and do not offer a lot of air flow across the components and they get hot and burn out quicker.

I have a Samsung 48" LCD and bought the wall mount for it from Best Buy.   So far it has been a good TV.  We've had it for about 6 months now.

What ever you do, do not buy an Hitachi. I have a Vizio and it seems to be great.
