Couple of Diamondwood calls in the works....

Been working on these two the last couple of days.  French Green and Royal Indigo Diamondwood in my SS series calls, with hand
made Brass inlays, and hand engraving.  Gluing in the soundboards right now.  Both will be slate over slate.

How do the holes on the side affect sound, if at all?  Is it more of just giving the call a different look?

Actually it does make it louder, or maybe it just seems louder because the sound is coming out around all sides instead of straight out the
bottom.  It also allows me to do full back side artwork or whatever on the back without obstruction from the sound holes.   Just something
a little different that I offer.

 I like the holes on the side of your calls. First time I saw that used was back in the early 80's when Mike Driesbach was building calls.  *up* *up* *up*
