Rev Farmer yelping on one of his trumpets
« on: February 11, 2013, 08:56:52 PM »
Some friends had the good fortune of meeting Rev Farmer at a local NWTF chapter banquet last weekend and got a good demo from him. Here is a short clip one of them made. His sound gives me a new challenge and level to aspire to with a trumpet. Amazing!

Me either and I'm not sure that I like it. Don't get me wrong, it sounds great...it just doesn't sound like a trumpet. To me, a good trumpet call has a distinct sound that is all turkey, but is different than any other call. His playing style is very different. Never heard anything like that.

He sounds more like someone running a mouth call. But he sure sounds like a hen to me.
