I haven't been able to make the two hour drive up to spend any time with Rickey since early Fall but finally got my chance today. We had a real treat today as Robert Glover (Crawdad) was able to ride up with me and enjoy the calling and lying first hand! Ricky had the calls laid out that he acquired since our last visit. I brought several of mine that he had not seen and Robert brought a good number of calls for show and tell. As always, we had a ton of fun sharing stories and more importantly running turkey calls. At least one trade took place at Rickey's dining room table. Rickey cooked us a pot of "camp stew" and a pork loin for sandwiches complete with Strawberry cake and pecan pie for dessert. We ate very well. I cannot wait to do it again.

I always look forward to David's visit. I get to hear some mighty fine call playing. I can find out what some of my calls are suppose to sound like. And Robert fit right in. He seems to love it like we do. I had a great time with two fine men today. After we played the calls on the table and ate we went into my gun/call room and pulled out a bunch more. Days like this sure make me want spring to hurry up and get here.

Pork loin sandwhiches, strawberry cake. Pecan pie and camp stew, the heck with the call pictures, break out the food next time for a photo op !! calls on the table are nice, but food on the table is great !!!  glad you all had a great time !!

You guys are fortunate to live that close to each other.  I live within an hour of Don Bald and visit with him a few times a year but no one else is even remotely close that has been bitten by the collecting of calls.  Looks like a great time, thanks for posting the pictures and sharing the day with us..

Guy's I spent the whole day with Rickey & David & still didn't have enough time to see all the calls Rickey has, but im sure i'll see the rest next time. Thanks again Rickey for your hospatality & great food. Already looking forward to next time. Robert
