This is a commemorative call that I came up with. I've seen lots of commemorative calls where they place a picture on top of the soundboard, and then use glass as there surface. But if you ever decide to play it, you have to dress the glass, and then you can't see the pic. So I thought of this. Move the soundholes to the side, and mill a cavity on the back. Glue a pic or whatever you want in it. Then fill it with bar coat. Even if it gets scratched, you can sand it out with 2000 grit paper, and buff it out to a shine like new.
