pheasantwood trumpet
« on: January 21, 2013, 11:33:11 AM »
Turned this pheasantwood trumpet ,she has a fosslized walrus m/p and a rubber and p/w lipstop,hi gloss finish on this one ,but i can take it down to a satin look, i dont think ill be offering any more hi gloss finishes unless you want one, never really liked them much, all i can say is that this call is outstanding all the turkey talk you can muster is in this call, who ever gets will not be disapointed, she comes with a turned bead out of p/w and w/b with a braided lanyard, she's for sale.thanks for looking ,rick

I talked to Rick recently about his trumpets and we had a good talk about his calls. I have never played his trumpets and so after the talk he said he still had this Pheasantwood trumpet and said it played some good turkey music. Anyway he sent me the Pheasantwood trumpet he had earlier posted on the OR and it came in the mail today. Wow, what a nice Turkey Tooter he makes. Very user friendly and easy to draw air. Lots of good hen music is in this caller. Anyone would be happy with this trumpet, I know I am. I will get another from him someday soon.
