Bill, I feel so sorry that you fine outstanding New Yorkers of the upstate are so dictated by the quacks in the City. You better believe the Ol Mayor of NYC had a lot of influence in your governors decision. Even scarier to me is the money he has to fund craziness like this.

I think it ironic, that the governor of NY put a value on the lives of law abiding citizens of only $7.00! That is what limiting a clip to seven rounds basically comes to! W/ criminals able to have any clip they want, that put all citizens in NY in peril. And, if you just happen to need to defend yourself and/or family and you do so w/ a gun and clip of over 7 rounds, now deemed illegal, you too could now be considered a criminal and open to a law suit which could leave you bankrupt.

Now President Obama, is ready to up the value of our lives to $10.00, with his edict of limiting capacity in clips to 10 rounds. When GM can build a car that has 500 horse power and some nut wants to hit the road at 120 mph, kill a family of 4, and we blame not the car, but the driver. What a crazy world we live in!

I like how the people of NY have a time limit on selling there mags out of state or face charges. Man I thought Ca was bad.
No respect should be given to a man who does not honor his word. He is just an adolescent who's acorns haven't dropped yet.

For several years, I have had the offer to come to NY. and hunt turkeys. I hunt w/ a Benelli Super Black Eagle (w/ the grip) and assume under the new laws in NY, that this shotgun is now illegal to hunt w/. But, my question goes much deeper. Is any rifle or shotgun w/ a pistol grip, now illegal? I'm being technical w/ this question simply because, most rifles and shotguns do, technically have what is called a "pistol grip stock". Some have the old style English grip or straight grip, but is some jack Butt going to be technical and cause an issue w/ this? My guess is yes, and that causes me to pause an question, Is it worth coming to NY to hunt??

Nope, not me, not worth it. I also have had invites and wanted to go visit the upstate....but that government wont get a dime of money until they return the rights of their citizens. Im in full boycott mode of New York. I for one am also sick of the NY politicians that think they speak for the rest of the US.

I have many friends there and hope my decision doesnt affect them, but its the only way to send a message. Sportsmen of every kind....shooters, hunters, fishing guys, gun makers, guides,  etc ought to all put full boycott mode in effect. Hunting and gun related businesses ought to pack up and move. They will learn what they did when they loose millions of dollars that sportman bring to their economy.

The gun manufactures ought to all stick together and not sell a single weapon to the Law enforcement agencies in New York or ammo when they put in an order. The police officers ought to all strike as well due to this and putting their lives in jeopardy, criminals are gonna be emboldened now that they know there will be less resistance against them. I bet in three days, they would be screaming to re-instate the rights they took away  after the thugs took over the streets.
