Another Buice Beauty
« on: January 13, 2013, 08:56:31 PM »
Time to let the cat out of the bag. If yall remember I had sent Billy that secret wood. I had enough to turn three trumpets. One of my good buddys wanted in on it. Billy called and said to come get em. My buddy swung by and picked his up and sent me a picture as a tease. Billy said he doesnt want to make anymore trumpets out of this wood. So here it is in all its glory(my buddies trumpet anyway). Its called Vasticola Burl

I cant wait to get mine.

Nice stuff right there. Must be some real hard wood if Billy don't want to play with it again.

Yes very hard and full of checks due to all the burls. He said of the remaining two was highly figured. I can't wait to get them.
