you cant leglislate morals........I agree with the mojority of you guys here---some great points.
The way I see it iS: LEGLISLATION AND ACCAPTANCE HAS CREATED THE ENVIORMENT for this to flurish. As Tim pointed out.....out law guns, will NEVER stop felons from having them PERIOD.!!!

i FEEL IT STARTED WHEN....and I QUOTE-"During this 30 year period we have seen a decline in families, morals, discipline in school, lack of proper punishment in the court system and turning away from God in our Government. The current fools we have in charge jumped straight to the BAND GUNS bandwagon(1994-2004). Well it didn't work out nor stop the Columbine High shooting (1999) or the DC Sniper shootings(2002).

Its govertmental involvement in daily and private lives that has led a couple of generations to not have any sense of RESPONSIBILITY for their actions. Kids are not disiplined at school nor in the home any more. The basic make up of this culture of this great country has been allowd to change ----declined in my opnion, in a persuit of fairness. Life is not fair folks,its full of lessions that are usually learned the hard way.
We MUST reestablish the family unit, faith and RESPONSIBILITY in the most basic function of our society---the FAMILY UNIT.

 The decline of morals has been going on since I was in elementary school. I'm 60 years old and I can remember mass shootings happening back at that time. Back then, the shooter was to blame. Politicians, have turned the issue on its' head....now the gun is to blame! Most of the talking heads you see on TV have no idea what they are talking about. I was watching "THE Five" on Fox the other evening and Bob Bechtel proclaimed the gun to be the M16 and rambled on as to how fully automatic weapons need to be made illegal! No one challenged him on his misrepresentation of the gun used, yet everyone thinks they know their side of the debate. It far to easy to place the blame on an inanimate object and remove the blame from the individual.

Oddly enough the #1 "assault weapon" used in attacks according to the FBI is a baseball bat. Never heard word one about banning baseball or the equipment they use.
