Here is a caller I just completed for talented callmaker, Gordon Olsen . This one is made from black walnut that was salvaged from an old hay rack built by Jim Wallace on his farm near Eminence , Missouri . The tree was cut down and sawed into lumber back in the 1940's . The tree was rumored to be so big that it took 3 men to reach their arms around it . The lid is made from cherry from Maryland that was sent to me by Md State NWTF southern President , Billy Moore .
