Finally getting back in the shop some. Made up a wingbone for farmer friend. He saw mine hanging round my neck this spring and had to ask..."whats that?" So....being as how he liked it and he lets me have the run of his place during the spring....

Thats a NO BRAINER.


Here is something I have been tinkering with on and off for a while. A long and lean boxcall. Similar to the Do-Dat maybe?

It is longer, shallower and more narrow than a standard shortbox, but without the handle. This one is pecan with a walnut lid. It has a good boxcall sound but doesn't quite make longbox status (yet). I am thinking that those who tinkered with this type of design already were right. But gives me something to do....
