Well......they say your eyes are the LAST thing to go as ya get older  *peep* ;D.
Here is a REDO for Bob of the Wild Thang. Bob called me a little over a week ago and wandered around in the conversation until he finally got enough courage to tell me......he said he needed to tell me something about the call. He proceeded to tell me that the wear pattern under the lid was running off center, I was confused---we talked and figured I had to what I had. Somehow, I drilled the hole for the screw off center. Man, getting senile aint all its cracked up to be  *lol*.
When Bob origionally asked me to make the call, he mentioned the linba top on the lid. I kinda inprovised and did the lid with the limba hidden. Thought the lid matching the base would match up good. He mentioned the look again, and this time the car salesman listened !!! It does have a different look to her and I like her. Bob, this time ya got the look ya wanted and I sware, I wore the BIG GLASSES,,,,(gonna hear about this I am sure) and I got the screw hole centered this time. I imagine there will be a few Kentuckians that cannot pass my mistake up here.....oh well, whats life without a laugh on yourself every now and then,

     Congrats on your first ever mistake making a turkey call.... *lol*

Been there done that. ROTFLMBO I have a mini Turpin that I did that to and it sounds so nice I'm not changing it. The key here is I have the call in my vest.

 Oh , this call will definately bring em in . It sounds as good as it gets ! Darn thing gobbles by itself ! I think both lids work but I really do like the limba over redheart lid the best . It makes for more of a matching look instead of so much contrast . Alittle less busy even , which lets the colors stand out better IMO . With such strong color , it needs a little balance to make it work as well as it came out . Home run my friend  !

Well I have to say that Ole Bob was right on the design, I like this lid design better.

Now as for your inability to "point your drill and get it in the screw hole center and all...."  *aah* *cry* *peep* *peep*well now Jeff, I could be wrong, but I think you're talking to the wrong folks, just a tip friend, but ya need to discuss this "problem" ya have with your better half *lol* ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

I knew there were a "few" select individuals that have been the focous of some jokes ....that needed a little help on targeting me  ;D *peep* ;D....so I served ya up a good chance at me here. Humility is a funny thing if ya dont take problems serious......
