Scratchbox made form Winterbottom Cedar .
« on: October 25, 2012, 10:46:50 AM »
Here is a scratchbox I made for a good friend in South Carolina . This one is made from Red Cedar that came from the last tree that Walter Winterbottom ever cut down to use for making calls. I salvaged the tree in 2010 with the help and direction of Walt's stepson Jim Chilton . This is some of the finest cedar I have ever picked up and it has been curing since 1989 . Thanks for looking !
Bob

The inlays and base are persimmon from an old moonshiner up north .  *lol*
