Well, there are so many stories to tell here I will add a little bit as I post up some pictures. Hope I dont boar any with pictures or details.
One of my favorite hunts each year is a trip headed for the Ohio turkey woods with a dear friend and his "children", Kee Kee and Cutter. This year was a majic one, as as soonas we stepped in the woods, things just came together it seemed. David Williams got the invite with me to join Marlin with his "kids" and it was on !!! The first morn, we set off for a decent walk to a spot Marlin felt good about. Man did Cutter bust em up---birds flew everywhere. We all got together and set up and majic happened. Before Marlin and I even got settled in some 250 yds aaway from the other guys, a shot rangf out. Immediatlly Ronnie in a EXCITED tone over the radio, he said"""get here quick, we have birds comming from all directions". Me and Marlin doubl;e timed it over the the break point and say down. A little calling and it was my turn to let the Nitros sing. Bird two down in all of 15 minutes. As we sat there enjoying what had happened, gobbeling rang out and Ronnie dawned Davids gun and he slipped up above us and began his majic. They were closing....we heard Ronnie gobble and immediatlly gobbles thundered out from what seemed like right on top on him. Just seconds later, Ronnie let a shot go and bird 32 was down from the same sppot. We had a great time. Thanks Marlin and Ronnie for another life long memory of time spent with the dogs and great friends. The next Morning we all went and got video of Marlins hunt.
I will get some action photos together of the hunt if ya want to see them.
