A Roosted Elk!

Well, I got your attention...but this is a parquet call with Walnut over Yellow Poplar and Padauk spacers/inlay and Oak burl end blocks.  This one will stay close to home for a hunter who is the chairperson for one of our local NWTF chapters.  He also happens to be a huge Elk hunter and belongs to the RMEF too.  Didn't get time to make a video for this since it rained yesterday and I had to deliver it early this am.  Though you may not agree, my favorite part is the tree the gobbler is roosted in.  I had fun making it look like an old gnarly white oak in the fall--thus the pictures reflect this wonderful season we are now experiencing here in the northeast.  Thanks for lookin.

Great looking call Witter....
the tree and gobbler look really good, but that elk and rump scratchers on him---he's a stud.
The new owner should really be proud of that caller for sho=ure.
Kinda glad its getting cooler, ya will be wearing LONG pants in those videos.... *lol*

As always your art work is beautiful to say the least. The detail in the Tree, Gobbler and the Elk are absolutely awesome!!  Please keep posting your work I personally can't get enough of the ideas that you come up with for your burnings.
