That's a great day in MO... fall Turkey season is about to get started and someone is out in the woods waiting for the first yelps of the season 

So quiet here right now and no wind.  Went to bed expecting 20+ mph gusts

I've had a great season so far.  Just wish the flu would go away and wish I hadn't broken my truck    Good thing it's a beater and the early model chevy's don't take much to get back on the road.  Think me and dad will get it fixed up today (I hope).

Going home to clean my drawers....  bird is roosted right above me (didn't know) and just let out two gobbles!!!!  Holy cow...  that scared the bejesus out of me!!!!!

After getting  on by a tom...  somehow I managed to smoke two hens with one shot

I'm tagged out in MO...  Hen and jenny were successfully taken and what a hunt.  I'm still walking on cloud 9!!!  This darn flu is trying to keep me down, but I'm motoring on. 

Just did get a call from school and gotta go pick the boy up now... he's sick   Told them it might be awhile

BOOOOOOO for Alabama and our extremely limited (by County) fall turkey season.  I get so pissed-off every year when I can't hunt turkeys in the fall, but anyone across the river (which I can see) can hunt them in the bordering county.  Maybe Alabama will wise up and bring things back to the way they used to be, someday . . .
