how many of you guys wear them and which one's do you like?  i have had a couple of pairs and the only one's that i really like are made by bps and are zip ups.  i can walk all day in those things and not have a problem.  the pair i had prior to these boots were some made by lacrosse.  they were lace up and were stiff as could be.  i never did really break them in.

For the last three years I have worn a pair of Danner Jackels. I have found them very comfortable.

Ron,

I wear the Rockys. I have had them for 7 years.  Never had a problem with them.  I would think the Danner's would be super too.

I would stick with those 2 companys.

Yes they are snake boots. I think they make the Jackel in a couple of different versions. A regular boot style and the snake boot style. Mine are so comfortable I wear them for all of my hunting, unless it is going to be in really cold conditions.

i've seen the regular version and always thought that they looked to be extremely comfortable.  i had no idea they make a snake boot in that style.  i might have to check those out at some point.

The Danners I have are not the Jackals the boot is the same construction as the Danner Pronghorn they are very comfortable. I have never seen the Jackal snake boot but have heard good reports about them hope that helps.
