A VERY UNEXPECTED SURPRISE
« on: August 29, 2012, 06:46:24 PM »
For the record I was in B-Ready's shop a while back and was being nosy. I was going through his wood pile and a piece of Bay Laurel burl struck my eye. I asked him where did you get this? Brent laughed and replied Dave Smith. He always tries to hide all of his nice wood before I get over there.  *lol* Getting Brent to let go of any of his wood is like pulling teeth. I explained that I would like to surprise Dave with a copper pot call made from some of that Bay Laurel so he gave me a piece. To make a long story short I sent that call to Dave. I did not expect anything in return. A blessing comes back two fold..... because this is what I received in the mail today.  *up*

Thanks Dave the trumpet looks and sounds great. I appreciate the call and yes it is a blessing to me!!!!!! *dance* *dance* *dance*

I'm glad it was as well received as when I opened up my magic mail box. Thanks again for that great copper pot.

Those who stir the S**T pot should have to lick the spoon.

Dave builds a very excellent trumpet, not only in looks but in sound. You are a lucky man.
