I wear snake proof boots, but wouldn't ever want to test them out on a rattler. I still try to look where I'am going. Too much of our gear and clothing being made in China

Greg---thosw are my old snakeboots---they are Rockys---they are tractor boots now---sole comming apart and no weatherproofing ....they didnt last me a year.....
Got me a different make now thats lasted 3 seasons of ALOT of mile put on em

Just wondered if you were going to get them tanned.  They should make some fine hat bands.  Or maybe a nice box call holster.

Skin 'em and soak them in witch hazel for awhile and then stretch em where you want them ! Lasts for many years !!

Brent, That is thinking outside the box and I like the idea. Steve, the holster idea is great too. Maybe laminate the box call lid with the snake skin and eliminate checkering!
