Wingbones for a benefit
« on: August 15, 2012, 11:34:10 PM »
A high school classmate of mine has a 17 year old son who has been in the hospital in Gainesville, FL, since March waiting for a heart transplant.  On top of that they are trying to raise money for an air filtration system that will need to be installed in their home.  His family and friends here in Iowa are planning a benefit for him at the Tri State Gun Club near Montrose.  On September 23rd, there will be a meat shoot, 50 bird derby, 25 bird .410 shoot, hog roast, bake sale, silent auction, and raffle.  All proceeds will go towards the fund to the family.  Any donations are greatly appreciated!  My donation is a matching set of wingbone turkey calls that will be part of the silent auction that evening.  I will be posting this on 2-3 websites to hopefully help with the sale of the calls.  You can put a bid for the wingbones on this thread or send a pm to me personally.  I will update the current overall high bid on all of the sites to keep bidders informed.  At noon on September 23rd I will take the highest online bid and put it on the silent auction bid sheet at our gun club.  If the bid stands, the calls are yours.  If someone bids it up, you're out of the bidding.  This is a great cause and I thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read this and hopefully pass this on to someone you know who may be interested in the calls or able to help in any way. Thanks again!!

A week away from the fundraiser.  Again let me know if you have a bid and I will put the bid on the calls that day.  Thanks for looking!
