a Shadetree pair of scratchers
« on: August 15, 2012, 10:36:24 AM »
I have a great friend that lives in the sunshine state that is a BONIFIDE turkey thug. He retired 27 years from the Babcock Ranch where he was the DEMISE of alot of longbeards in his guiding. The ole boy almost solely uses a scratcher. I figured he needed a surprise so I called ole Shadetree to get him to make one up. Bob came through with one that not only sounds really great but as always, its really a looker. While on the phone with Bob, I figured I better get me one of the Sea Biscuit wood---its a singer also---told Bob to leave that wood rustic looking. Thanks alot Bob for the calls ---you will make John a happy thug !!!

Bob, your scratch boxes look about as good as they get.

Those are two fine looking scratchers that have plenty of history in their wood. Those are nice Bob!  Jeff you scored on a classic their admiral!

My daughter loves her Seabiscuit scratch box as it goes with her horse theme and makes Daddy happy too.  I did not know you did those in Cypress Bob, so dont be surprised if there is a big log in your front yard one day!  ;D
