He(Lapp) got wind of the developement we were undertaking....and in TOTAL FEAR ...I am sure was the driving force, he got in touch with his advertising agency and hired the a phpto opp with N.A.S.A.
tHIS IS SOON GOING TO BE ON BOILLBOARDS FROM COAST TO COAST. Mike, the call we developed is good, but you didnt have to spend this much money.......

I would also like to thank Jeff and his family for being great host for us Kentucky boys. They are great people and I appreciate them making room for us to stay at the McKamey household for the weekend. It is always good when you can talk turkey, play calls, and spend quality time with great people. I do have some pictures but need to get them on the computer to post. Jeff I hope the girls like the calls and they all call a bird to your gun someday. Its always good to see youth get involved in our sport of turkey hunting.  Like all the guy's said Ol Jeff is a machine and a true turkey thug. Jeff next time you might want to hide your calls from Joe because I think he has caught the addiction.   I gave Joe a new nickname "box call willie". His addiction is getting so bad that he is afraid to let his calls out of his grasp. I think he thought that Stonner and I would still them  . This is the only picture i will post for now. Just wanted to show how bad he's got it. I thank you wore "Box Car Willie" out.

Looks like he cant spend 24/7 in the shop huh 
And for the cat---last year when the moonshiners left----my family was on a campinf trip on the n-laws lake lot---they brought home a dropped off puppy from the side of the road-----I already had 2 dogs---
This year---the boys were present when Allie---my middle daughter , set in on me for her birthday--that all she wants is a kitten....I am not much of a cat person. The boys and the kids had a great time PRESSURING me this weekend.
Frank is right---I dont have a chance when any of my little girls want something-----looks like there is a #$%$ cat in my near future.
Frank---thanks so much for the gift of those calls to my girls....
I cannot wait till they call me a bird in.

Well, I received a top secret government photo of the trough call that was done at the McKamey R&D laboratory and there are several suspicious aliens from the planet Kentucky in the photo and a substance that is either gasoline to burn that failed trough call or its apple moonshine that was used as "inspiration" for that call.  I think I would put a ribbon on the shine but the call, get back and re-design that thing!!!!!!

bob, i'm not sure what happened but guessing it was "auto correct" spelling or something oin the phone, go figure--not exactly what it was that i typed but shoulda just been sweet $@# call, maybe some secret code thing porter done on this site to keep it G rated language, haha. 
and Jeff, just wanted to let ya know--that pic of me was staged--although i did have to keep my hand on the box cause frank kept tryin to sneak a peak in there or snatch one up--but as far as me sleeping--that was a fake photo--

one thing i do regret though--was not getting a pic of us 4 all together and our new calls, it was the best of times telling tales and building our own calls in your shop.  sorry we kept you from building any but sure appreciate you lending your skills to us!

Ya know, I may not know everything there is to know about callmaking, but I am certain probably ain't a good thing to have moonshine up to your lips and a hammer near where you are supposed to be tuning calls--but that just could be me?  Anyway, based on that pooch in the T-Shirt I figure ole Snakeboots ought to be hitting that machine in the background instead of the shine and late night eating feasts!

Witter, maybe thats why no one can get that distinctive sound out of a box like McKamey!!!    and by the way, if any of ya'll are fortunate enough to go visit Jeff in his home town and stop off at a restaurant, be sure to have Jeff along with ya to translate your order--they have thier own language down there.  i was lucky enough to have him along to fix my order--i order iced tea and got something a little different, glad he was with me to straighten things out--thanks buddy!!!
