Paulownia!!!

My buddy Chuck Anderson recently told me that he was going to make a few calls with Paulownia wood. I was pretty skeptical but did not tell him my thoughts. That stuff was too light and porous to make a good sounding call. Turn the clock forward. I have run two of the Paulownia calls Chuck has made and they are simply awesome sounding longboxes. And they are gorgeous. Mine is Red Cedar over Paulownia with Cocobolo and Holly inlays. The box and lid are checkered perfectly with a ruler on bottom to measure the old gobbler’s beard. Thanks again my friend for another fine call.

Rickey your very welcome and thank you very much .I was a little skeptical myself not ever
    using paulownia before as you know i made a few of them and i like them all
  with the cedar they sound good and are user friendly .Dave il have to put a yard stick 
 in yours for a turkey thug like you .
