Here is a scratchbox that was requested recently . This one is made from cherry that came from Dick Kirby that was given to me by my friend Ralph Permar after Dick passed away . It was made for the Island Ornithologist on St. Catherines Island off the coast of Georgia . Burton saw the scratchboxes I made for my Florida hunting buddies and he asked for similiar palmettos on the call because the island is covered with them . Hopefully this little island will one day have wild turkeys on it again . These little calls have a great sound and will cutt, cacle and purr nicely and have a 2 note yelp that breaks over like a boxcall . Thanks for looking !
