WildTalker Trumpet "Black Hunter" ready to ship
« on: August 01, 2012, 02:15:34 AM »
I said I would not pre announce when I would have Trumpets ready to sell again. Getting the new parts has taken this long. I received the new parts Saturday and am now ready to ship the "Black Hunter" callers with the New Sound.

I stopped selling the trumpets because I personally wanted MORE out of the caller. I am VERY HAPPY to announce that I achieved my goal and it was well worth the wait. The new callers are a little longer because of the new parts. This also makes them look different too. ( will post pics soon )

So what changed? It has a wider range and will be suited for both Spring and Fall hunters. The clucks and cutts are "snappier" at all ranges that you can not only hear but feel in your hands. The "roll over" will hold all the way down to the softest calling when you don't want to call loud. Those of you who can control the air flow will know instantly the change. It is even more "user friendly" and will play better with using just one hand. Simply put it just has MORE Turkey in it.

I will post more information on my website. I just wanted to give you guys who have been waiting and PM ing me the First heads up! I only have 20 now but getting new parts run is not a problem and will not have any long back orders in the future.

Good question. Here again I am not going to pre announce the different colors for sale till I have them in stock ready to ship. I am waiting on the new CNC bottom section to be done. I have a NEW Vendor now and waiting on the CNC computer programs to be drawn.

The Plan is.........

SOLID DARK Green Acrylic ( NOT light colored like was pictured here ) and Black Pearl for production callers. Then I am doing a Limited Edition of 75 in Green Pearl to commemorate the patent on the ferrule and the New sound.

I have good news. They are going to have me parts soon for the Green Acrylic and Black Pearl. After they get those done I will do a Limited Edition of 75 in Green Pearl. The new LE calls will be longer and have the patent number on them too. This will help identify them from the first LE's.

I am also considering offering the caller with a traditional round end mouthpiece. ( not flat wingbone type ) . Some people prefer or play calls better with them. Another reason is it would be a lot easier to do the whistle. I am sure your feedback will help if that is a good option to pursue.

So far....... the feedback on the new Black Hunter has been positive. I am happy with the final tweaking.
