I got this copper over glass Cholla Jumping Cactus cast pot call from Mike Yingling. Simply an awesome sounding call. I believe the blank was made by Shadetree_1 (Joe) on this forum. The callmakers just keep turning out better and better sounding calls. Not sure how a gobbler will have much of a chance.  *lol* *lol*

Thats one great looking piece of wood Rickey---is that wood impregnated or is it the natural colors in the wood.
Mike ya did a great job on that pot caller , and Joe---what a piece of wood !!!

Jeff,

The material is not wood but looks and feels like it. It is a cast material that Joe and his son have invented. I really like it. I know Richard Hudson turned a pot out of a piece earlier that really turned out nice. I would like to get another piece and have another pot call made out of it.

Iam glad you likd it... It is some wild looking wood ,,ive turned few of these calls now and each time its a suprise on what the in side is like on looks
and need very sharp tools for turning i use carbine and got to touch them up when done LOL  These blanks are from joe it is wood its just cast in alumilite to fill in voids in the wood  And most important glad your happy with the sound from the call

Thanks for getting me straight on the make-up of the pot. I did not realize it was wood cast in alumilite. I just know I like the looks and sound of this one a lot.
