When I was in Florida back in March , I was talking to Lamar Williams and he had been checking out my new scratchboxes and told me he really liked what I was doing with them . Lamar liked the cherry scratchboxes I made with dogwoods and palmettos burned on them which I made for my good friends , the Pattons. I decided I would make a parquet scratchbox to go along with the checkerboard one I made for him in 2011 . This call is made from flamed tiger maple , walnut , NY maple and purpleheart . The striker is maple , purpleheart and mahogany . Hopefully this one helps roll some Osceoals in the spring ! Thanks for looking !
