Me and the wife love to look for antiques and such. Well this morning we end up at this indoor flea market. Now it's in the middle of this small town with a huge parking lot and houses right in front of that. Well we get there about 30 minutes early and while setting in the parking lot I hear this super low kee. I turned the radio down and low and behold I hear it again. I looked over at this roll of trees separating the parking lot and the street and I see this small poult in the ditch. I tell the wife look at the baby turkey. I kee kee at it and it starts looking around for me. I get out of the truck and walk toward it, about that time I hear a putt putt puttt from this Pin Oak tree. I see the hen and it flies out of the tree about 75 yards to the wood line. Then I start seeing all of the other's still in the tree. There were 10 still in the trees.
About this time my wife says look that baby turkey is in this guys yard. About that time she said "Look that cat is going to catch it". heck, I picked up a rock and chunked it at the cat and run it off. The wife says "If I was you I wouldn't do that again" because the house had a Police car in the drive. I told her well he sure as heck ain't animal control but if that cat goes after that poult again I sure as heck will be and I like cats but a man has to draw the line somewheres. Man it was cool seeing them right in the middle of town like that.
