I was building a big order of my standard (Cedar / Cypress) double-sided scratchers,
and decided to also build a few in a different combo.
The body is a beautiful dark Walnut, with one Red Cedar, and one Chestnut sound board.
The Chestnut came from a 100 plus year old barn in North Carolina.
These scratchers have two distinct tones and eliminate the need for two separate calls.
The Red Cedar side has the old hen tone, and the Chestnut has the sassy young hen tone.
They come with a matching Walnut striker.
I'll be posting these FIVE scratchers in the classifieds.
Thanks for lookin',
Timbo.
