Here are the last three I had promised the Winn's for a shot at some of that historical wood of theirs. It was a pleasure to have a chance to make these calls. This entire endeavor was the midset of John Eddleman...John---I truely appreciate you introducing me to the Winns and that SPECIAL wood my friend.
Sorry for the delay, but when season comes in,even though I had been working on these calls, EVERYTHING STOPS!!!! HAHAHAHA.
The calls have matching bases made from the same beams from the historical Baby Doll house built in the late 1800's.Walnut was inlayed in the body and Cypress inlayed in the Walnut lids. These calls go with the origionals as a set, but have the standard 20 check pattern. They have a clear side and a moderatly raspy side, both old hen and young raaspy hen, clucks and purrs are unreal on this softer wood. The 3 were made for Eustis Winn IV,Eustis Winn III, and David Nichols that lives here in Chattanooga. Hope you guys like em and roll a bunch with them.
