Redwood over Redwood with a side swinging Redwood
« on: May 22, 2012, 06:43:13 AM »
Had planned on getting a lot of call work done this weekend, but my son called from Oxford and said he had just let the man contracted to do my grandson's playhouse/swingset go.  Said the man started wanting more $ and my son noticed he had put the floor to the playhouse running the same way as the floor joist support.  He almost fell through when he stood on the floor.  Got there Sun. Pm and by dark we had this Redwood over Redwood with side swinging redwood finished.  It was a good thing, ---- my back went out about the same time.  Never seen so many screws, bolts and nuts in my life.

I have helped on a couple of those projects myself and when you lay out all the parts and the bags of bolts-n-nuts the first thing you want to do so you get it out of your system from the start is:

.

walk away from it, take a deep breath and scream!   *aah*
Apologizing:  does not always mean you are wrong and the other person is right.  It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.
