Alligator call in progress

I normally don't post up unfinished calls but after seeing the work from Richard (Strutnrut) and what he's been doing with the blanks from Joe, I thought you'd like to see another blank he has available. This is an Alligator jaw impregnated with black acyclic. Has to be hands down the hardest material to turn and drill. After drilling this blank I had to replace all the drill bits I use on trumpets. I still need to make the lip stop once I get another blank from Joe, and decorate the ferrule a bit. This call already has incredible sound. Can't wait to get it done.
