I haven't been on much with orders and getting ready for some trips. Had some great hunts this past week. First was back home in Indiana. This hunt lasted about 2 1/2 hours. This is the first bird I have killed with a bow and the first time I used my new bow on a hunt. The Magnus Bullhead popped his skull from the base of his neck. This bird had 4 beards, 10.5", 6", 2.75" and 2.375".

On Thursday I left to meet some friends in Kansas. 2 1/2 days of hard hunting resulted in me tagging out yesterday a few hours before I planned on coming home. The birds were tough but worked to calls.
We roosted this bird the night before and this hunt ended at 6:32 am.

We scouted a field across from where I killed my first bird and found the place covered up in birds before fly up. We got in early and listened for some birds. We setup about 75 yards from 2 gobblers. Right off the rip 5 jakes fly down opposite of us and make a dash to where the gobblers were. Those two ended up running the jakes off then working to our set. This hunt ended at 6:47 am.

Had a great time this past week. I'll have a little rest before I finish up Illinois on the western side then it is off to Rosebud in South Dakota. We have had some tough hunts but some of the most memorable I have had in a while. Thanks for the look.
