I just got back to Arkansas from a whirlwind hunt out West in a couple of states. I had planned to stay until next week and meet Augiedog55 and West Augusta in Kansas for our hunt but I ran out of tags and came home. I spent a lot more time driving than I did hunting on this trip. I was by myself so needless to say I am exhausted. It sure was fun though to be in a lot of gobblers and have turkeys do what turkeys are suppose to do, gobble and come to a call. I think I killed two 2-year olds, one 3-year old, and one 4-year old gobbler on the trip. They had 7 to 9 inch thin beards. Typical for what I have seen in Rios. The biggest bird had 1 1/4 inch spurs. Note the coloration in the fans. One of the birds is colored more like an Eastern.
