Youth Hunt

Here is a pick of a young man's first turkey hunt in northeast WA! After a day of listening to turkeys gobbling and going with the hens! the next day we snuck in close to the roost and set up a hen decoy! with a flydown reinactment and some soft calling from a frank kruer cooper pot call! we got the whole flock to come down and wander over to the decoy ! the kid got a chance to watch about a 15 minute show of gobblers rounding up his hens! we took the closest one to us about 20 feet and smoked him! this jake had 3 beards! added up to 8 3/4 !
