Went with one of my best friends this morning to his farm....its a piece of PARADISE as far as turkey birds go.....he only lets me and my kids other than he and his daughter hunt there.Usually this place is flat full of birds but this year they are scattered all along the mountain.

How many times do any of you get involved in a hunt where cows get involved...most all the time---it always ends the wrong way, the cows enter the hunt at the worst time and in the absolute wrong way---blows the entire deal.
This hunt, the cow got her own bale of Alfaffa afterwards. This ole knucklehead had been held up gobbeling and sturtting at us for long enough that he had gobbled up a hen we didnt see for the longest time. As it looked like the hen was going to be spotted by the bird that we had his total attention...a cow comes into view and takes care of the competation....she had great timing. We got the entire hunt of video, even the part where Aubie, after I told him my view of the bird at 27 steps was blocked by a bush...took the shot anyway---he said he couldnt hold off any longer
